Port Renewed

Conversion of historic warehouses and construction of new buildings in Gdansk creating 220 residential units and 8,500 sqm of commercial space. The master plan preserves the port's industrial character while introducing contemporary urbanism.

Original brick structures were stabilized and adapted. New buildings use similar materials but clearly contemporary detailing. Waterfront promenades connect the development to the city.

The development revitalized a formerly derelict port area. Residential units attracted both local buyers and international investors. Commercial spaces filled quickly, with restaurants and galleries creating a cultural destination that draws visitors from across the city.

Preserving existing warehouses significantly reduced embodied carbon compared to complete demolition. Original brick required surprisingly little repair. New construction uses similar materials to create visual continuity while being structurally and functionally contemporary.
