The development establishes a new standard for Hamburg's waterfront development. Rather than maximizing every apartment's river view, the design creates collective garden space that serves all residents. This approach generated higher satisfaction scores than comparable developments.
Brick facades age gracefully in the maritime environment, requiring far less maintenance than rendered or metal-clad alternatives. The material provides excellent acoustic insulation from river traffic and neighboring apartments.
